The Rockland County Police and Public Safety Academy takes COVID-19 safety seriously. In addition to enhanced cleaning procedures and social distancing when possible, the Academy is currently following the guidance from the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and Rockland County Department of Health regarding masks and vaccination status.
Currently, the academy does not require
proof of vaccination or masking
in the absence of COVID symptoms.
This is the minimum standard that applies in academy facilities. If an agency has a more restrictive policy for its employees, the agency policy will supersede.
Similarly, any SUNY Rockland students must comply with college safety requirements.
